The Eleventh
of May 2010 This
year's Summer Navigational Rally and Tour will be visiting
mid-Staffordshire
courtesy of
Sarah and Michael Elsom. It will be based at Hamstall Ridware
north
of Lichfield and east of Rugeley,
Staffordshire
(MR 128/099187) – not very far from Curborough. We
invite you to
arrive during the
afternoon
of Saturday 26th June before supper at Hunger Hill Farm in the
evening.
Sunday will see the
Navigational
Rally (for those after some light mental stimulation) and the Tour (for
those just content to
admire the
scenery) setting off in the morning, with a break at lunchtime and
finishing
back at Hunger
Hill Farm. The entry form and regs can be downloaded here.
The Eighteenth
of February 2010 When the Brooklands Driving Tests
were postponed
due to bad weather,
some were
not to be denied their pleasure. Carden with Gary

of February 2010 The Vintage Minor Register is
celebrating their
10th Anniversary this year
and has invited
the VSCC and the Section to join in their celebrations at
Prescott
for a Vintage Garden Party
and day of
untimed climbs at Prescott on Saturday 24th July and a Navigation
Rally/Scenic
Tour on Sunday 25th July.

The Twenty
Ninth of June 2009 Our Summer Rally took place
around Rutland
yesterday.
The forecasters
said we were going to get a hot summer, and we hit it lucky over the
weekend.
Only a few
spots of rain, and boiling for the rest of the time, so quite a change
from the last few LC&ES events.
Thank you
to all who supported the Rally; we hope you enjoyed the whole weekend.

The event will take place in the beautiful countryside of Cheshire
and will be
hosted by James and Christine Peacop.

Sixth of June 2007 A reminder that we are all
invited to the
Vintage Minor Register's
Summer Rally
in and around Milton Abbey over the weekend of 27th to 29th July.
Many LCES
members have already booked, including John Warburton, Raymond Martin,
the Bucks,
Kevin Lee,
as well as all the usual Minorists and Minoristes,
but there
is still room for more and the Section has also been invited
to enter a
team of three Light Cars in the Navigation Rally Team Challenge on
Saturday.
