The Sporting Trial

Once again under the direction of Seymour Price, the Section held an extremely enjoyable and light car friendly sporting trial in late March. As usual, the event commenced at the Metropole and the hills were strung out along the Wye Valley, leading to the finish at the Elan Valley Hotel. The Rendalls won the Edwardian Class, Marc Brereton was the victor in Class One and Richard Parsons won Class Two with the highest overall score. Richard Scott won the Winifred Boddy Trophy, and Johnathan Rishton won the Kate Hutchings Trophy - both in Austin Sevens.
